The Joint Procurement for CEERIS – Central & Eastern European Electronic Reporting Information System – was successfully completed on August 11th 2020 and RGO Communication Ltd. and its subcontractor Infinum d.o.o. were awarded as best bidders.
On September 1st 2020, the project implementation started with a kick-off meeting between the Contractor and viadonau as the Contracting Authority. Ever since, the Contractor has been working diligently on the development of the new CEERIS system in coordination with the Contracting Authorities.
The further procedure for developing and implementing CEERIS is divided into 4 phases:
In the current first phase, requirements specifications and an Initial System Concept are being elaborated.
Phase 2, during which a detailed system architecture, database structure and mock-ups will be finalised, will be completed by the end of this year 2020. During phase 3, which is the most labour-intensive phase, CEERIS will be implemented in an agile manner. The final installation to the operational environment and the stability performance tests will be carried out in the final phase 4 of the project.
Meanwhile, the Contracting Authorities are working on a legal basis for a sustainable operation of CEERIS.
CEERIS will be available to users by the beginning of 2022. Until then, a tight implementation schedule is ahead of the project partners.
