Despite the current situation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the Core Teams of Activity 3 continue to work intensively on the implementation of the COMEX Services. However, due to current travel restrictions, all Activity 3 Core Team meetings, which are already planned for the first half of 2020, will be held as web meetings.
Therefore, the 12th COMEX Activity 3 Core Team meeting on 25th and 26th March 2020 was also held as a web meeting.
The main agenda points were the finalization of the VisuRIS COMEX Reference Network Model, the update of the Inland ECDIS Facility Files as well as the data import validation rules to VisuRIS COMEX. Furthermore the monitoring concept, statistics and the subscription requirements as well as the remaining open action points of all levels 1 – 3 were discussed.
A starting point was set within Activity 3.5 dealing with the evaluation. The procedure of the evaluation of the developed services was explained and a rough time schedule presented.
A status update of the AIS data provision towards VisuRIS COMEX was given. Finally, a CES Workshop was held to present the status of the joint procurement and its main content such as the service contract and the service specifications.
